Hello. Welcome to Vinauro, our wine store and art gallery. We are the only place in Granada, Andalusia, where you can find unknown wines from Granada soil and other incredible Spanish wines from  lesser-known regions with local grapes. All combined with wine sales, wine tastings, art, painting workshops, art exhibition, book presentations, photos and other form of social activities. A unique physical space due to its great spaciousness, a space also adapted for people with disabilities.

Vinauro is an initiative of Irene de Boer, of Dutch origin, and Richard Lundgren, from Sweden.
Irene came to Granada for the first time in 1996 and fell in love with the city. She is a person with a multidisciplinary work background, but always with the love for wine, language and tourism. Initially she began tasting wines in alredy known places, but driven by curiosity and an open mind, she got keeping on the hunt for new flavors. She ended up taking several courses, among others she obtained the internationally recognized WSET2 title.

Richard recently landed here in Granada after many years living in the capital of Spain, Madrid, where he ended up studying for more than five years at the Facultad de Bellas Artes, Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Also with a multidisciplinary work background, but having languages ​​and image as work tools; meaning language teacher, translator and web designer. Of course, always with the love for art; making oil paintings, acrylic paintings, printing techniques, pen and ink drawing; author of novels and poetry…

Talking about the activites in detail, we can tell that they involve tasting selected wines daily which can be translated into mini tastings and in depth-tastings such as horizontal and vertical ones; workshops; openings of art exhibition; book presentation; social meetings (farewell parties, political meetings, presentations…) In our activity section, you can find the activities for the coming weeks
